A great low protein dessert recipe that is exchange free. Perfect for those on a PKU diet who are looking for a chocolate flavoured treat.


  • 50g (2 bars) Vitabite
  • 5g Hundreds & thousands*

*Always check the protein content on labels as ingredients can change


  1. Break Vitabite in to small pieces.
  2. Place a glass bowl on top of saucepan filled with water ensuring that the water does not touch the bowl. Add Vitabite to glass bowl, heat gently, stirring the Vitabite until melted.
  3. Take melted Vitabite off heat and dip a small sized blown up balloon (8cm in diameter) in to it, covering half the balloon with Vitabite.
  4. Dip coated balloon in hundreds & thousands.
  5. Set on a plate and place in fridge to cool until hardened.
  6. Pop balloon, remove all of the balloon from Vitabite cup and enjoy.
