Our Sweet Potato Fries recipe for the PKU diet is a classic side that can be enjoyed with any of our low protein main meals, or on their own as a snack. A great option for those on a PKU diet. This recipe is exchange free.

Ingredients

  • 100g Sweet potato, peeled
  • 20g Brown sugar
  • 60g Olive oil

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C /fan 180°C/gas mark 6.
  2. Cut sweet potato in to thin fries.
  3. In a large bowl mix together olive oil and brown sugar.
  4. Add fries to mixture and coat.
  5. Place fries on a greased baking tray.
  6. Cook for 35-45 minutes until golden and crispy.
